First Christian Church - Prayer List

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

Please remember my dad. he just came out of quad bypass surgery in February and early this morning had a stroke. He is in great spirits but has a long (and expected to make a full) recovery ahead of him.

Please pray for Robie's dad Hayden Arnold. We are at the hospital now he is having open heart surgery and they will be doing 4 bypasses. Pray for him to have a successful surgery.

Please pray for my granny Wynell Ingram she is having alot of health issues. She went in the hospital late Wed night due to her not being able to walk nor was she eating and her sugar was almost 300. Today we found out that along with her heart disease she is anemic so she will require time to time blood units so she is getting a unit of blood slow tonight. They advised us she has a bad heart that a normal heart would be considered a 50% heart and a BAD heart is 20% well granny's heart is at 30% not good but not bad with the blood units it could make her heart rate jump or slow down. Just say a prayer that God watches over her we have came to realize that our 79 y/o granny had a plan from God when she got here and God has a plan for her when she goes but we want to keep her around as long as we can.

Paula Laney's Family she was a former employee with me. She died in a head on collision today! Please pray that all her family will find peace with God

Please pray for my mother, Rita Chappell. Last night she was rushed to Tanner Medical Center. They have her stabilized, however she is going to be there a few days. Her airways are blocked and she cannot breath well on her own.
